Privacy policy
This policy describes how Scrollune and its account service handle information. Recording, stitching, editing and exporting do not require an account.
Recordings and images
When you start a recording or import a video, Scrollune processes it on your device. Source media, generated images and editing information are stored locally. The app does not automatically upload this content to our account service. If you choose to share or email content, the recipient or app you select handles that copy.
Apple sign-in and accounts
If you choose Apple sign-in, Scrollune sends the Apple authorization code, identity token and one-time challenge to our account service at accounts.minmonkey.cn. The service verifies the proof with Apple and manages your account and sessions. The current version does not request your Apple name, email address or profile picture.
The account service stores the Apple user identifier, an internal account ID, app membership, a generic device label, login times, IP addresses and security logs for authentication, session management and abuse prevention. App session credentials are stored in the iPhone Keychain. Default avatars are rendered locally. Random default names and nicknames you set are stored locally per account and are not automatically synchronized.
Permissions
- Screen recording starts only after your confirmation in iOS and is used to generate long images. Protected content may not be recordable.
- Photos access is mediated by iOS when you import a video or save an image. Saving requests add-only access.
- Notifications are used for recording-completion reminders. You may disable them and return to the app manually.
Third parties and tracking
Apple provides system sign-in and platform services. The current app includes no advertising or third-party behavioral analytics SDKs, does not track your activity across other apps for advertising, and does not sell your media or account information. Cloud sync and Google sign-in are not currently available.
Retention and deletion
You manage local media. Uninstalling may remove app data; copies saved to Photos or shared elsewhere must be deleted separately. Signing out does not erase your local gallery.
Account management in the profile tab provides a Scrollune account-deletion request, confirmed with the same Apple identity. The flow revokes the corresponding Apple authorization and removes this app's membership, sessions and login records. Memberships in other apps using the same user center are retained; if no other memberships remain, the global user and identity mapping are removed. Apps sharing an Apple authorization group may require reauthorization. Contact support if the in-app flow cannot be completed.
Account and session information is retained to provide the service. Sessions and challenges expire; temporary credentials are cleared according to service cleanup rules. Security and operational records may be retained separately to investigate issues, prevent abuse or meet applicable obligations.
Update checks
Optional update checks contact Apple's public App Store listing with the app identifier and a region code. Apple receives network request information such as your IP address. No recordings, images, account tokens or nicknames are included. You can turn automatic checks off in About Scrollune.
Support messages
If you email us, we process your email address, description, app and device details you choose to include, and any samples you voluntarily provide to respond and troubleshoot. Please do not send unrelated personal information.
